WSD Animal Aid Participation in Humane Society International World Spey Day February 28th 2012

Every year millions of unplanned and unwanted puppies and kittens are born across Australia and the world, contributing to overpopulation of companion animals. Sadly, many of these animals end up homeless and unloved, stretching the resources of animal welfare organisations and shelters like Animal Aid to breaking point. Luckily, the problem has a simple solution. Desexing is a 100% effective, permanent method of preventing unwanted litters, and at Animal Aid, we firmly believe that all pets should be desexed.

Animal Aid Veterinary Clinic is excited to announce that on Tuesday 28th February 2012 we will be participating in World Spey Day, alongside Humane Society International. On this day our dedicated, skilful team of surgery vets and nurses will concentrate their efforts solely on spaying female dogs and cats. This service will be provided to pet owners at a discounted price for the event.

If you have a female dog or cat that is not desexed, and would like them to take part in World Spey Day, please contact the Animal Aid Veterinary Clinic for prices and booking.

For pet owners whose animals are already desexed but would like to support Animal Aid on World Spey Day, donations are very welcome. This will assist us to continue to provide low cost desexing throughout the year to members of the community in need, and our wider role as advocates of desexing for companion animals.

Please contact the Veterinary clinic on 9739 0500 to find out about how much you can save and book your pet in now
